Obodoukwu is located in southeastern Nigeria in Ideato North LGA of Imo State. The town is part of the Igbo cultural region and is known for its strong communal lifestyle, respect for elders, and traditional institutions.
The town is structured around villages and kindreds, which form the foundation of land ownership, family identity, leadership, and social life.
Obodoukwu is a place where culture is not written in books but lived daily through respect, shared responsibility, ceremonies, and community spirit.
