Obodoukwu is made up of the following nine villages:
1. Umuagbadagwo
2. Umunwarahu
3. Umume
4. Umumejiaku
5. Umunkwukwa
6. Umuoka
7. Umuezugo or Umuezesheta
8. Uzubi
9. Ugbele
Each village has its own kindreds, compounds, elders, youth groups, and cultural contributions to the town.
